Rams
Arashi152RArashi, Japanese for a storm or typhoon; this Ile de France is one of the nicest rams we have produced. This ram grew very fast and is one of the most active animals we have had on the farm. With a great loin, and excellent gigots this guy sums up the need for Ile de France genetics in your flock. |
South African Meat Merino46NNeed to improve meat without reducing the quality of the wool. This is one of our dual purpose rams. This ram has the structure to back up his meat. An excellent flocking animal, he has the muscle and the size to make any predator think twice. Add this ram to your flock and you will see an increase in meat production and a decrease in fat. Best of all with a micron of 26 the wool quality of many breeds will not be affected. |

Rideau Ram124MThis ram is a great example of the Rideau breed. This ram complements the reasons this breed was developed. Born a quintuplet, his high weaning weight was a contribution to the high index he received.
Structurally correct, these genetics will greatly improve its offspring while also improving lambing rates. |
Rideau Ram19NThis ram is another good example of the Rideau breed. With a long deep body, this ram will complement any ewes he covers. With the typical milk production a Rideau, F1 lambs will benefit any sheep farm in any country. |
East Friesian1604A fine example of a black East Friesian, this ram was selected for many reasons; a solid leg and black hoofs will reduce lameness in his offspring by improving feet. What is an East Friesian for, milk production; and this boy comes from a solid milking background. With a long deep body, he can increase the size of his offspring capacity for carrying extra lambs. This ram will benefit any flock by improving milk, lambing rate and foot issues. |
428SHDA 428S428S has come from one of the top breeders in North America; sold at the WESTERN SUPER SIRE SALE in 2007. He is one of the top animals from an elite breeding program. His sire comes from an AI/ET program while his dam is one of the highest indexing Romanov ewes in the flock of origin. This ram will add hardiness and prolificacy to all flocks he encounters, a finer boned animal will add meat to the carcass and the Romanov genes will add numbers to your flock. He is a very correct animal, with good length and depth. Excellent feet and teeth will add longevity to the flock. Overall this is one of the nicest animals I have seen in a long time. Solid breeding program, solid breeding credentials, solid conformation and a great temperament all add up to the type of genetics you need in your flock; whether pure or crossbred. |
Suffolk RamWDS 76JThis is a very impressive ram that has sired over 120 lambs. As a yearling he had an index of 191 in the Western Suffolk Sire Reference Program. With very good bone and muscle, he is a great example of a moderate Canadian Suffolk. He is taller than the British style Suffolk with a good long body, 76J would work good as a flock sire or in the show ring. At 6 years of age, this ram is still providing excellent offspring for the Canadian sheep industry. |
